Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, with deep musical and family ties to Louisiana, Wesley Daniels chose to pursue her studies at Loyola University New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree with concentrations in Classical Performance and Music Industry Studies. During her time at Loyola, she performed with a wide variety of classical and jazz ensembles while also pursuing private instruction and developing her artistry as a harpist.

Wesley began playing the harp in 2009 and has had the privilege of studying under esteemed harpists Laura Byrne and Rachel Van Voorhees. As a versatile performer, she enjoys sharing music across a broad range of genres and settings, including jazz, chamber music, classical repertoire, concert band performances, religious services, holiday celebrations, popular music, relaxation programs, and more.

Today, Wesley maintains an active career as a professional harpist, performing at public, private, and volunteer events throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Her performances bring elegance, warmth, and versatility to weddings, celebrations, community events, and therapeutic environments alike.

In addition to performing, Wesley serves as a member of the administration team at Middle C Music - the Northshore's In-Home Music School and Studio. She also offers private harp and piano instruction both in person and online for students throughout the New Orleans and Northshore areas. Wesley occasionally teaches specialized courses and workshops through the studio as well.

To support aspiring and professional harpists, Wesley provides harp rental services of all kinds.

Wesley is currently pursuing her certification as a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) through the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP). She looks forward to offering complementary therapeutic music as a healing presence, nurturing the body, mind, and spirit alongside healthcare professionals while supporting patients and their families throughout the community.

Through the use of live therapeutic harp music, Wesley aims to provide comfort, relaxation, and emotional support in healthcare and caregiving environments, helping to create moments of peace and connection during times of healing and transition.
